How do you unwind at the end of a long day?

Hot bubble bath, candles, wine and a back-scrubbing husband :-)!

It really depends on how long of a day we're talking about, but it usually involves talking with my girls (wife & daughters), reading a book, a blog post or a Hub article, some exercise and a pro basketball or football game or a good movie on tv.

Hi Krystal

I usually have a lot to do that I force myself to end the day but on rare occasions I sit on a couch with a cup of tea and a bar of chocolate or just fruits sometimes and watch two and a half men or other comedies that make me giggle out loudly alone .That really makes leaves my mind fresh and ready to tackle the next problem.

I love to read, so at the end of the day I open a paperback and get lost in a good story. That is, when I have time.

Netflix is usually my saving grace after a long day of work. I have two 12 hour shifts a week, and honestly, after each shift, my brain is fried while my body is still wired. Getting lost in a good movie helps me exhaust the rest of my built-up energy, and even paves the way for some very interesting and vivid dreams.

Changing into the comfiest clothes I own, curling up with a good book, and letting the troubles of the day slip away.

I second the Netflix comment.

Husband and I get something to eat, come home, watch Netflix and curl up with our legion of kitties.

I stress out dealing with people all day every day. It's nice to come home and have it just be the two of us.

I'm also knit and crochet. Right now I've got an armload of baby blankets to make. It's a nice way to spend the nights.

I unwind by talking to the man in my life. Makes me smile, laugh and remember that no matter how much of a shitty day I may have had, its only a few hours out of my life and tomorrow is another day. :) OR get a nice bath, listen to Ray LaMontagne while I lay back, candles and take it all in.. Wonderful...

That's when my husband and I have time for each other. We talk about the day and anything that is bothering us. This helps clear our minds and makes for a good nights sleep.
